Conceived by Wright in the 1930s finally coming to fruition in 1949 as the Taliesin, aka ‘Origami’ chair, it was designed for the Garden Room of Taliesin West and is from a limited production in 1986 by Cassina. It was distributed in the U.S. by AI (Atelier International). This example, signed underside and stamped number 322, is in excellent condition having its original Wright designed fabric for Schumacher.
