Unique Desk With Modular Cabinets by Hans J. Wegner for Johannes Hansen, 1947
An early Wegner design prototype made for the Cabinet Maker's Guild Exhibition in 1947.
This storage ensemble is the earliest
modular furniture design Wegner conceived. It consists of a desk, a four drawer cabinet and a two door cabinet. The pieces are all made from solid oak with rosewood tipped feet and plinth bases. There are two additional solid pine wall mount cabinets with sliding glass doors.
