A Bauhaus period, fully functional, articulated metal table lamp produced by B.A.G. Turgi in the 1930s. Adjustable metal shade pivots up and down and swivels left to right attaching to an arm jointed at the base allowing for a wide latitude of forward and back movement. Substantial build quality produces a weighty, solid, and stable lighting device that will continue to perform its function decades in to the future. The blackened, oiled, and waxed new finish is in excellent condition. No makers marks visible. An identical model can be found in the Museum of Design Zurich, Archive of the Zurich University of the Arts. Priced per lamp.
