A fine and well crafted six drawer rosewood desk having a solid rosewood structural frame, recessed side panels, and shaped solid rosewood legs mitered to its frame. The writing surface is a single expanse of seamless, active grain rosewood set flush in the frame with a low, sculpted gallery edge running the entire width of the front and half the depth of each side where it gradually tapers flush with the writing surface. The open chair recess area between the drawers measures 27” wide by 26” in height. Maker is Haslev Mobelfabrik.
