An Impressive Art Deco Chrome and Glass Desk from France, 1930s
A superb and important desk of semicircular form having an exposed and substantial architectural chromed bronze frame supporting floating thick panels of 1.25" thick clear with textured original cast glass bottom sides. Three curved St. Gobain glass slabs form the top, with curved glass privacy panels on the front and sides. The origin of this unique desk is The Institut George Eastman, Paris, 1937.
