X-Base Mosaic Top Side Table by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, 1954
Inspired by tables of Ancient Greece, this Edward Wormley design model No.5425-T is a classic. It is comprised of Murano glass tiles, set in a brass framed top, which is removable. It rests on a folding, ‘X’ form base of ten solid rosewood slats jointed at their center point and held in unison by shaped, solid rosewood members perpendicular to its slats.
