    An original 1930s Old Hickory Glider Settle Bench/ Sofa with a frame of finished bark on hickory logs and it's original seat and back are in woven hickory binder cane. The glider features a uniquely hinged steel bar mechanism for swinging with steel bearings at the point of the swivel, all meticulously crafted by a master blacksmith. the base of the sofa has a steel framework from end to end, reinforcing the hickory log structure.
