Cabinetmaker Made Rosewood Extension Dining Table by Vestergaard Jensen for Peder Pedersen, 1959
Cabinetmaker made extension dining table of solid palisander or rosewood with three leaves. Each leaf has an apron so as to match the the table’s edge thus when inserted it creates a seamless look. The base table measures 67” without any leaves. Each leaf in turn measuring 22.75” wide and can be added individually; one, two, or all three to create a desired length. The top is set upon shapely dowel legs each with expressive, integral diagonal braces at the corners. There is a fold down support leg to be utilized when extending by two or three leaves.
