Even Arm Sofa by Hans J. Wegner for J. Hansen / A.P. Stolen, 1953
Hans Wegner Model No.18 Tuxedo style, fully upholstered, even arm sofa having a tight upholstered back seamed in three parts with three loose upholstered cushions as the seat. The framed raised by four wooden, dowel style legs, available at the time in oak, teak, or beech and tenoned in to the frame at each corner. Model No.18 was one of the earliest, fully upholstered sofas designed by Wegner with both Johannes Hansen and A.P. Stolen licensed to produce this model known as either JH-18 or AP-18 respectively.
