Finely Made Rosewood Cabinet with Tambour Doors by Ejner Larsen & Aksel Bender Madsen for Willy Beck, 1950s
A rosewood storage cabinet with sliding tambour doors concealing ten open compartments on the left and eight adjustable drawers with dovetailed edges on the right side. Made in the cabinet shop of noted craftsman Willy Beck in Denmark, it exhibits well selected, active grain teak with the sides matched to the top in a continuous flow of grain. The case is well supported by four, custom made solid bronze hairpin legs crafted by WYETH.
